Abhiram Nagarkar

Abhiram Nagarkar has extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as the Head of Marine HR and Vessel Group Manager at TORM since March 2015, overseeing a team responsible for a fleet of approximately 40 Product and Chemical tankers. Prior to TORM, Nagarkar worked at Maersk Line Ship Management from May 2010 to February 2015 in various capacities, including General Manager and Senior Fleet Superintendent, managing container vessels and contributing to the establishment of a new ship management office in Mumbai. Earlier roles include Technical Superintendent at EMS Ship Management, Chief Engineer at Selandia Marine Services, and Marine Engineer with Neptune Ship Management Services. Nagarkar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology and a Class 1 Certificate of Competence in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Maritime and Coast Guard Agency in the UK.
