Lajos Holmslykke

Lajos Holmslykke is an accomplished maritime professional with extensive experience in performance management and change management within the shipping industry. Currently serving as General Manager at TORM since November 2018, Lajos oversees voyage optimization and performance management. Previously held the position of Head of Asset Management at Thorco Projects, managing all asset-related activities, including performance and technical management. As Head of Performance Management at Thorco Shipping, Lajos implemented fuel efficiency strategies for a large MPP fleet. Prior roles at Maersk Line encompassed leadership positions in Technical Remote Container Management and Fleet Efficiency, where Lajos focused on projects aimed at fuel consumption reduction. A Master Mariner by education, Lajos also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Transport and is pursuing a Mini MBA in Artificial Intelligence at Aros Business Academy.
