Samantha Swanborough

Samantha Swanborough is a highly experienced drama educator, currently serving as the Lead Drama Teacher at Bishop David Brown School since September 2024. With a longstanding commitment to the performing arts, Samantha has been the Owner and Principal Teacher of the Surrey School of Speech and Drama since January 2013, providing drama lessons and coordinating LAMDA. Additionally, Samantha works as a Trinity Arts Teacher and Co-ordinator at Tormead School and leads yoga and wellbeing classes for young people through Swan Yogis. As the Founder and Director of Bacchae Theatre Company, Samantha has established a platform for producing classical plays. Recent positions have included Drama Teacher at Alton School and Head of Drama at Aldro Preparatory School. Samantha holds a BA Hons in English Literature with Drama and Theatre Studies from the University of Surrey Roehampton and a PGCE from Greenwich University.
