John Begg

Level Designer at Torn Banner Studios

John Begg is a level designer at Torn Banner Studios. John has been with the company since May 2016, when they started as a development tester. In this role, they were responsible for developing test plans and reporting results to the team. John also tested all company products to ensure they met quality standards.

In June 2021, John was promoted to level designer. In this role, they are responsible for creating maps and levels for Torn Banner Studios’ video games. John works closely with the game designers and artists to ensure that the levels are fun and challenging to play.

John Begg studied game and interactive media design at George Brown College.

John Begg reports to Steve Piggott, President. They are on a team with Alex Hayter - Brand Director, Ludovic Piraud - Level Designer, and James Lulham - Senior Producer.
