Patrick Aber

Patrick Aber has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Patrick co-founded Tornado, an undisclosed company, in 2015 and served as the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Portfolio Manager at The Carlyle Group from 2012 to 2014 and at Vermillion Asset Management from 2007 to 2014. Patrick also worked as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Tower Research Capital from 2003 to 2007 and as an Analyst at Beecher Investors from 2002 to 2003. Patrick started their career as a Summer Analyst in Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch in 2001. Before that, they were a Data Developer at FireSpout from 2000 to 2001. Patrick holds experience as a Research Assistant at Harvard Business School from 1999 to 2000.

Patrick Aber attended Phillips Exeter Academy from 1994 to 1998, where they completed their high school education. Patrick then went on to Harvard University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned an AB degree in Applied Math/Economics. In addition to their formal education, Patrick has obtained several certifications in the financial industry, including the Series 4 (Registered Options Principal) from FINRA in December 2021, the Series 24 (General Securities Principal) from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in November 2015, the Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law) from FINRA in November 2015, the Series 7 (General Securities Representative) from FINRA in October 2015, and the Series 3 (National Futures Association) from FINRA in August 2012.
