Shujuan Cheng has extensive work experience in finance and administration. Shujuan started their career at Tornos Group in 2019 as the Head of Finance and Administration. Prior to this, they worked at National Instruments ChinaHK from 2014 to 2019, where they served as the Finance Manager. In this role, they oversaw and drove functional excellence of all branches within the sub-region, ensured finance and accounting operations compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and provided commercial finance support for business performance and growth. Shujuan also developed and improved performance reporting for profit improvement, cost reduction, and cash flow optimization.
Before joining National Instruments ChinaHK, Shujuan worked at National Instruments China from 2000 to 2013. During their tenure, they held various roles, including Finance, Operation, and Trade Compliance Manager, Accounting Supervisor, Customer Service Manager, and Customer Service Representative. In their finance role, they ensured timely and accurate financials in accordance with US GAAP and China GAAP, reviewed internal controls and SOX documentation for compliance, managed budget and forecasting, and ensured compliance with tax regulations. In trade compliance, they oversaw import/export operations, initiated trade facilitation programs, managed service providers, and resolved inquiries from government authorities. In their operational role, they developed innovative strategies for the Business Operation Group to drive branch business goals.
Shujuan Cheng completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English for Foreign Trade and Economy from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. Shujuan then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Fudan University between 2012 and 2015.
