Jason Kraft

Jason Kraft has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Jason is currently employed at The Toro Company as the Chief Robotics Engineer, starting in August 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Principal Engineer in Research and Development at The Toro Company from March 2017 to August 2022. Prior to joining The Toro Company, they worked at Eaton - Hydraulics Business as an Engineering Specialist, Controls from July 2013 to March 2017 and as a Lead Controls Engineer from November 2010 to July 2013. Jason also worked at PaR Systems, Inc. as a Senior Software/Controls Engineer from October 2009 to November 2010 and at BAE Systems in various roles, including Senior Controls Engineer from April 2008 to October 2009, Senior Software Engineer from November 2004 to April 2008, and Electrical Engineer from August 2000 to November 2004. Jason also has experience as a Research Assistant at Michigan Technological University, where they supported image processing research experimentation, modeling, and simulation under the direction of Professor Micheal C. Roggemann in the MTU EE Department from May 1998 to September 1998.

Jason Kraft received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. Jason later pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, completing their studies from 2007 to 2010.
