Justin Syrstad

Justin Syrstad is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in robotics and AI. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Robotics Engineer at The Toro Company since July 2021, Justin previously held multiple engineering roles at Honeywell from January 2006 to July 2021, including Lead AI Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer. Earlier experience includes a position as a Student Engineer at Daktronics from May 2001 to August 2004. Justin holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota (2013) and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from the same institution (2005). Additionally, Justin has obtained multiple nanodegrees from Udacity in Sensor Fusion and Robotics Software Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University (2003).
