John Brighton

John Brighton has been a pivotal leader at the Toronto Catholic District School Board since October 1981, currently serving as the Head of Enterprise Applications and Solution Delivery. With extensive experience managing complex projects and enterprise applications, John excels in solution delivery and project management. Notably, John led a team of 18 professionals in the successful implementation of Aspen SIS in August 2022, and is currently finalizing a request for proposal for an Individual Education Plan and Case Management solution. Previous roles include Senior Project Lead, Senior Coordinator, and Systems Analyst, demonstrating a robust background in enterprise resource planning and related technologies. John also has experience as a Night School Instructor at Centennial College and has held programming roles at various organizations. John's educational background includes a BA Honours degree in Administration and Information Management from Toronto Metropolitan University, as well as multiple certifications in human resources, records information management, and safe schools administration.
