Timothy J. Stewart

Department Head, Canadian And World Studies, History, Law Teacher at Toronto Catholic District School Board

Timothy J. Stewart has extensive experience in both education and military service. Since September 1986, Timothy has served as the Department Head for Canadian and World Studies, as well as a teacher of History and Law at the Toronto Catholic District School Board. Timothy's military involvement spans several decades, having been a regimental piper for The Toronto Scottish Regiment since 1984 and serving as a regimental historian, museum curator, and author of the book "Toronto's Fighting 75th in the Great War, 1915-1919." Prior to this, Timothy was the regimental piper for The Calgary Highlanders from 1980 to 1984. Additionally, Timothy has worked as the Canadian Representative for medals at Spink and Son Ltd. since March 2019. Educationally, Timothy holds multiple degrees from York University, including a BA (Hons) in History and Geography and a Bachelor of Education.
