Anita Brown

Anita Brown is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in employee engagement and internal communications. As a Senior Communications Consultant at Toronto Community Housing since March 2020, Anita leads the Employee Communications team, focusing on creating content to keep staff engaged. Previously, Anita was part of the Strategic Communications team at Toronto Community Housing, and prior to that, worked at Solace as a Marketing Communications Specialist and Social Media Manager, enhancing public relations and content creation efforts. Additional experience includes roles as Social Media Coordinator at Sabucco's Dance Company, Editor-in-Chief at Centretown News, Communication Assistant at The Riverwood Conservancy, and Dance Instructor and Camp Counselor for the City of Brampton. Anita holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Carleton University.
