Conrad Sheppard

Conrad Sheppard serves as the Director of Business Law and Corporate Governance at Toronto Hydro since November 2010, leading a team of fifteen professionals in corporate governance, finance, commercial, and risk management. Previously held roles include Director of Corporate Governance and Commercial Legal Services, Acting General Counsel overseeing Regulatory Affairs, and Director of Legal Services and Corporate Secretary, where responsibilities encompassed managing legal teams and assisting with corporate entities. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Counsel at Ontario's largest electricity distribution utility, Legal Counsel at Shoppers Drug Mart focusing on acquisitions and commercial law, and Associate at Torys LLP in corporate law. Conrad Sheppard holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Studies from Queen's University.
