Michelle Goland

Michelle Goland is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government relations and community engagement. Currently serving as a Government Relations Consultant at Toronto Hydro since July 2021, Michelle previously held the role of Community Liaison at York Region Rapid Transit Corporation (vivaNext) from December 2016 to June 2021, focusing on relationship management. Prior experience includes serving as Outreach Coordinator with the Ministry of the Attorney General - Special Investigations Unit (2015-2016), where program activities and public engagement strategies were established. Earlier roles include Communications Officer at Elections Ontario (2010-2014), responsible for outreach partnerships, and serving as Mayor's Assistant for the City of Toronto from January 2003 to November 2010. Michelle earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Social Service Professions from Ryerson University between 1998 and 2002.
