Tahir Jaffer

Tahir Jaffer is an experienced manager in asset management and operational performance, currently serving as the Manager of Asset Management Operations at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority since 2017. Jaffer has overseen the management of an asset portfolio valued at over $5.8 billion and has previously held roles such as Senior Analyst of Operational Performance and Manager of Maintenance Response. Prior to joining GTAA, Jaffer held leadership positions at Toronto Hydro and York Catholic District School Board, managing facility operations and maintenance with substantial budgets and teams. Jaffer's earlier experience includes a strong focus on building automation systems at Yorkland Controls and extensive managerial roles at the Toronto Catholic District School Board. Jaffer holds a Master of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University.
