Brian Borg is an experienced investigator currently serving at The Law Society of Upper Canada since September 2016, focusing on complaints against legal practitioners in Ontario. Prior to this, Brian has held various significant positions within the Toronto Police Service, including Detective Sergeant and Executive Officer, managing over 1,800 personnel in multiple support units. As the lead investigator in the Homicide Unit, Brian developed a transformative business plan for cold case investigations, which has been adopted by the agency. With a robust background in criminal investigations spanning from 1981 to 2014, Brian contributed to pivotal cases, established one of Canada’s first units for unsolved sex crimes, and fostered international law enforcement collaborations as a member of the Fugitive Squad.
