Katie Shaw

Katie Shaw has extensive experience in law enforcement and security advisory roles. Currently serving as a Security Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General since March 2019, Katie previously held multiple positions within the Toronto Police Service, including Detective Sergeant leading the Behavioural Assessment Unit and the Sex Crimes Unit, where responsibilities included managing high-risk offender assessments and the sex offender registry. Additionally, Katie has worked in financial crimes as a Detective Sergeant in Asset Forfeiture since August 2012 and served as a Staff Sergeant from November 2010 to August 2012.
