Sydney O'Neill

Sydney O'Neill currently serves as a Researcher at the Toronto Police Service since December 2024. Prior to this role, Sydney was a Project Coordinator at Planview Utility Services Limited, managing data management and translation services while collaborating on the development of GIS web applications. As a GIS Analyst and Fulfillment Coordinator at MAX V02 Event Management Inc., Sydney developed maps for events and worked with software developers on new mapping tools. Earlier experience includes serving as a GIS Analyst at the Great Lakes Marine Security Operations Centre, where Sydney consulted with government agencies on traffic pattern modeling and produced formal reports using project management techniques. Sydney holds a Graduate Certificate in Geospatial Management from Niagara College and a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and the Environment from Brock University.
