Adele Lamphier

Adele Lamphier, MSW, RSW, is the Branch Head at the Toronto Public Library, where they oversee a 15-person team and manage a variety of branch operations. With 17 years of experience in public librarianship, Adele has built strong relationships with community partners and served diverse populations in Toronto. Adele holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and previously earned an MLIS in Information Sciences and an HBA in Political Science/Women Studies from Western University. They have a strong focus on equity-seeking youth and have participated in various training programs related to de-escalation, anti-oppression, and accessibility.
