Angela G.

Angela G. is an experienced executive in transportation planning and strategic initiatives, currently serving as the Executive Director at the Toronto Transit Commission since August 2020. Prior to this role, Angela G. held positions at Metrolinx as Manager of Regional Partnerships and at the Regional Municipality of Durham as Director of Corporate Policy & Strategic Initiatives. Angela G. has a strong background in developing and implementing critical transportation policies and programs, having led initiatives such as the Transportation Master Plan and SmartTrack. Additionally, Angela G. served as Head of Policy and Planning at York Region, managing teams to advance urban growth and accessibility initiatives, and began a career as Senior Transportation Planner with the Corporation of the Town of Ajax. Angela G. holds a Master of Science in City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning from the University of Toronto and a Masters Certificate in Municipal Leadership from Schulich School of Business at York University.
