Betty Hasserjian is a seasoned safety professional with over two decades of experience in occupational health and safety. Since March 2002, Betty has held various roles at the Toronto Transit Commission, including Chief Safety Officer and Manager of SH&E Policy and Strategy, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety management and environmental health. Prior to this, Betty worked as an Industrial Hygienist at Ontario Power Generation from February 1999 to March 2002. Betty holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Physiology and a Master of Health Science in Occupational and Environmental Health from the University of Toronto.
