Heiko Vietmeier

Heiko Vietmeier is currently working as the Managing Director and CFO at Torqeedo since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Defontaine Tunisie S.A from April 2019 to November 2022. Heiko also worked as the Director at Defontaine Qingdao from May 2018 to November 2022. Before that, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Defontaine SA / Rollix from October 2017 to November 2022. Heiko gained valuable experience at thyssenkrupp where they served as the Head of Controlling, Accounting & Risk for the ThyssenKrupp Forging Group from May 2015 to October 2017. Prior to that, they were the Head of Controlling for ThyssenKrupp Bilstein GmbH | BU Damper from March 2012 to April 2015, and the Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions from January 2008 to March 2012. Heiko started their career at Ernst & Young as a Senior Consultant in Assurance from August 2004 to December 2007.

Heiko Vietmeier completed their education at several institutions. From 1999 to 2004, they attended RWTH Aachen University, where they earned a degree in Diplom Kaufmann with a focus on Rechnungswesen und Business/Management. In 2001 to 2003, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Business at TBS Education. Heiko later obtained the qualification of Steuerberater (Chartered Tax Advisor) from Steuerberater Verband NRW in 2007 to 2008. Furthermore, they received a certification as a Steuerberater (chartered accountant) from Steuerberaterkammer Düsseldorf in February 2008.
