Jonathan Kruse

Jonathan Kruse has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jonathan is currently employed as the Director of OEM/Project Sales at Torqeedo, where they have been since 2021. Prior to this position, they served as the Senior Manager of Project Sales at the same company.

Before joining Torqeedo, Jonathan worked at Kruse Resource as a Self Employed consultant for a period of 16 years, from 2005 to 2021. In this role, they provided expertise in management functions, project management, sales, marketing, and negotiation of franchise contracts and real estate leases for multiple clients.

Jonathan also has experience in the marine industry. Jonathan worked as the North America Sales Manager at Marine Travelift, Inc. from 2018 to 2021, where they played a crucial role in augmenting sales and establishing strong business relationships.

Prior to that, they worked as a Boat and Yacht Sales representative at BAY MARINE from 2016 to 2018. Jonathan developed and implemented unique sales and marketing strategies to promote the brand and exceeded client expectations.

Jonathan has also owned and operated their own dealership, Door County Marine, from 2012 to 2016. In this role, they managed sales, service, and boat storage, as well as boat towing and salvage.

Jonathan has also worked in the political sector as the Chief of Staff for the Wisconsin State Senate from January 2011 to July 2011. In this role, they advised on politics, policy, and management issues.

Jonathan's earlier experiences include roles such as General Manager at Crystal-Pierz Marine, Operations Manager at St. Croix Marine Products, and General Manager at Olympic Boat Center. Jonathan also worked as an Operations Supervisor at LSG Sky Chefs.

Throughout their career, Jonathan has demonstrated strong leadership and business development skills, consistently achieving sales growth and establishing successful partnerships.

Jonathan Kruse has a background in Aviation Management and Aeronautical Studies. Jonathan attended St. Cloud State University but did not obtain a degree in this field. Jonathan also attended the University of North Dakota, again without receiving a degree. In addition to their education, Jonathan holds additional certifications including a Merchant Mariner Certificate obtained in 2014 from the USCG Merchant Marine Captain - Near Coastal institution, and a Private Pilot SEL obtained in 1990 from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.
