Thomas Ambler

Thomas Ambler is currently the studio design director at TORREY, where they oversee a design studio comprising thirteen staff in New York City and two in Los Angeles. With over twenty years of experience in architecture, they have focused primarily on residential design and construction in the Northeast for the past fourteen years. Ambler has held various senior roles, including design director at Fox-Nahem Associates and studio director at both Drake Design Associates and G. P. Schafer Architect. They have lived and practiced in New Orleans, New York, and the Hamptons, collaborating with complex teams on custom homes throughout their career. Ambler is also a partner at BANGALLWORKS, fostering coworking and community building in the Hudson Valley.
