Rachael Viens began their work experience as a Childcare Worker at Giggles and Grins Childcare in 2010 and worked there until 2014. Rachael then moved on to the Meriden Board of Education as an IT Intern from 2014 to 2016 and later became a Desktop Support Specialist from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Colchester Public School District as an IT Specialist until 2018 when they transitioned to EdAdvance as an IT Specialist. Their most recent position is with Torrington Public Schools, where they started in 2020 as a Lead Technician. Rachael later progressed to become an IT Manager in 2021 and currently serves as the Interim Director of Technology starting in July 2022.

Rachael Viens attended Southington High School from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained their high school degree.
