Jeff Davies

Jeff is an experienced design engineer with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering, and brings wide ranging electrical, electro-optics, and firmware development experience with him to Tortuga. Jeff has developed automation, inspection, and robotics systems for aerospace, industrial, and commercial applications, and is a named inventor on six patents in those areas. In previous positions he also has worked in functional and program management roles, and has set up and supported mid and high volume manufacturing operations in the US and Asia. He is excited to join Tortuga to be able to continue his work in robotics and to help develop increasingly sustainable harvesting practices. Jeff is a native of Colorado, enjoys the outdoors, and is an amateur beekeeper in his spare time.
