Paula Van Camp

Paula is an ideator and critical thinker, following her passion for sustainable technology and intelligent design. She is primarily experienced in agricultural automation, embedded system design, and full-stack app/website development. Paula loves to explore her surroundings and considers each city she has lived in to be home, including St. Louis, Milwaukee, Phoenix, and Denver. While in Milwaukee, she earned a BS in Computer Engineering from Marquette University with a concentration in Engineering Leadership and launched a recycling workspace on campus, aiming to educate the community about the realities of plastic recycling. She looks forward to riding her bike to the office each day, knowing that her work at Tortuga is helping to create a 'healthier society and thriving planet through smarter farming'. She keeps herself busy after-hours writing letters, refurbishing furniture, playing on adobe illustrator, and watching movies.
