Davide Locatelli

Davide Locatelli is a Founding Machine Learning Engineer at TORTUS since May 2023, specializing in the development of computer-controlling agents to enhance doctor consultations and patient care. Concurrently, Davide serves as a Machine Learning Researcher at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, focusing on Natural Language Processing applications, particularly in semantic parsing and hate speech detection. Previously, Davide was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where instruction on C programming was provided to over 50 undergraduate students. Experience also includes a role as a Software Engineering Consultant at Recycleye, where a web application for automated data analysis of object detection datasets was developed. Davide holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Imperial College London, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from UCL, and a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
