Dr Dom Pimenta M.d.

Dr Dom Pimenta M.D. has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Dr Dom is currently the Chief Executive Officer at T O R T U S. Dr Dom also holds the position of Specialty Trainee at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine. In addition, they are the Founder-In-Residence LD19 at Entrepreneur First. Dr Pimenta has served as the Clinical Lead for Cardiology at ORCHA and as the Lead Specialty Research Physician at the Richmond Research Institute. Dr Dom has worked as a Clinical Consultant at Richmond Pharmacology and as a Cardiology Registrar and Medical Doctor at the NHS. Dr Pimenta has also played significant roles within the Healthcare Workers' Foundation, serving as the Chairman of the Board, Acting Chief Executive Officer, and Founder. Overall, Dr Dom Pimenta M.D. has a diverse background in clinical medicine, research, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

Dr. Dom Pimenta M.D. completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at UCL from 2006 to 2012. In 2009 to 2010, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Surgical Sciences from UCL. Dr Dom further pursued their medical education and received a qualification in Machine Learning from Stanford University in 2019 to 2020. In 2014 to 2015, Dr. Pimenta obtained the MRCP degree from the Royal College of Physicians. Recently, they have been enrolled in the NHS Digital Academy for a foundation degree in Clinical Risk Management, starting in 2022. Additionally, Dr. Pimenta has obtained certifications in Essential GCP for investigators from Brookwood Global in November 2020 and a Doctor of Medicine degree from UCL in 2012.
