Merton Lansley

Merton Lansley is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as Tech Lead and Software Engineer at TORTUS since October 2023. Previously, Merton worked at Otta.com from June 2022 to July 2023 as a Full-stack Software Engineer, focusing on machine learning model development for job recommendations and integrating GPT models. Prior to that, Merton contributed to the Ellen MacArthur Foundation as a Software Engineer from November 2020 to June 2022, maintaining the Circulytics model and developing internal analytics dashboards. Merton’s experience also includes freelance development from September 2018 to October 2020 and a role as a Junior Data Scientist at Distributed Analytics Solutions in 2019, where Merton developed an ETL pipeline for train operations. Merton's career began as a Junior Developer at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation from September 2017 to September 2018, primarily in front-end development. Merton holds an MSc in Intelligent and Adaptive Systems with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Brighton.
