Trenton Bond has over 20 years of experience in Information Security. Trenton currently serves as Chief Information Security Officer for Torus and previously held the same position at Pluralsight. Bond also worked as VP of Information Security and Privacy at Divvy | Inc. before joining Torus. Prior to that, they held various roles at MaritzCX, including Director of Information Security, and at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where they served as Enterprise Security Architect and Pen Testing Manager, Security Operations and Engineering Manager, and Information Security Team Lead and Engineer. Bond started their career as a Security Specialist at IBM. Throughout their career, Bond has built and led teams responsible for security engineering and operations, governance, architecture, and risk management, focused on ensuring data protection and privacy, cultivating trust with customers, shareholders, and team members, and designing security solutions for integration into the larger enterprise architecture.

Trenton Bond holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electronics Engineering, which they earned from Brigham Young University in 2001. Trenton then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Information Security Engineering from SANS Technology Institute, which they completed in 2014. Trenton also holds various certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), which they earned in 2005.
