Tory Walker

Tory Walker, PE, CFM, QISP, is the President of Tory R. Walker Engineering, Inc., a firm founded to address the need for water resource expertise within the engineering community. With extensive experience in hydrology and infrastructure, Tory served as Division 3 Director for Rainbow Municipal Water, focusing on sustainable water supplies, and held leadership roles including Past Chair of the Vista Chamber of Commerce. Prior professional positions include Project Manager at GEI Consultants, Manager of Hydrology & Hydraulics at Hunsaker & Associates, and Project Engineer at various firms where Tory contributed to significant water management studies and hydrologic analyses. Tory holds a BS in Civil Engineering from UC Irvine and a BA in Engineering Physics from Westmont College.

Tory R. Walker Engineering, Inc. (TRWE) was incorporated in February 2000 to offer water resources planning and engineering services to public agencies and private sector clients. TRWE provides consulting services to government agencies, engineering firms, environmental consultants, and developers throughout Southern California. Tory Walker, a registered Professional Engineer and Certified Floodplain Manager, is a widely recognized expert, with over 35 years of experience in water resources planning and engineering. As leaders in the water resources industry, TRWE is known for expertise in all surface water disciplines and for innovative ways of integrating these disciplines. TRWE offers services in storm water management, watershed and floodplain management, flood facilities design, sedimentation and erosion, and river restoration. The TRWE team takes great pride in understanding the complexities of watersheds and the drainage systems within each watershed, and continually stays abreast of ever-changing rules and regulations. The extensive use of industry-recognized, state-of-the art software for hydrologic and hydraulic modeling translates into reliable results for clients.
