Yoshitake Kobayashi

Yoshitake Kobayashi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and technology management, currently serving as General Manager and Director of Corporate Software Engineering and Technology Center at Toshiba Corporation since April 2008. Previously, Yoshitake held roles including Senior Manager of Open Source Technology Department and Chief Specialist in Software R&D within the same company. Yoshitake's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Electro-Communications, where an Assistant Professor position was held from April 2002 to March 2008. Additionally, Yoshitake was a Visiting Researcher at the University of Melbourne in 2006 and started a career as a Systems Administrator at EDS from November 1997 to July 1998.
