Jaakko Meriläinen

Jaakko Meriläinen has been working in the software engineering field since 2012. In 2012, they began working as a Teachers Aide at the University of Oulu, where they assisted in teaching fundamentals of algorithms, data structures, discrete mathematics, network protocols, oo-programming (C++) and information security. Jaakko also designed and taught a small voluntary "course" in basic Python programming. In 2015, they began working as a Junior Software Developer at Invian Oy, where they developed back-end services and integrations, maintained an older thick client written in Java, and automated testing and development processes. The main product at Invian Oy was an ERP-style information system used mostly in home care and nursing home care. Since 2019, Jaakko has been working as a Software Engineer at Tosibox.

Jaakko Meriläinen attended Oulun Yliopisto from 2011 to 2015, where they studied Information Processing Science.
