James Burleson

James Burleson has a strong background in the oil and gas industry, with experience spanning several companies and roles. James began their career at Schlumberger as an MWD Engineer in 2007, before moving on to Pathfinder Energy Services in 2008. James worked as an MWD Engineer at Pathfinder Energy Services for four years, until 2012. Following this, they joined Crescent Directional Drilling as a Sr. MWD Engineer for a year. In 2013, they transitioned to Terra Directional Services, where they worked as an MWD Coordinator until 2016. James then joined True Shot, LLC. as an Operations Manager for a year before serving as the Vice President of MWD Operations at Intrepid Directional Drilling Specialists from 2017 to 2021. Currently, James is working as the MWD Operations Manager at Total Directional Services, LLC.

James Burleson attended South Plains College from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained an Associates degree in Engineering. James then continued their education at Texas Tech University from 2005 to 2007, where they studied Geophysics with a minor in Math.
