Jason Richards is a qualified RLSS Trainer Assessor at Total Fitness, overseeing the delivery of the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification since April 2023. Prior to this role, Jason served as Swimming Pool and Learn To Swim Manager, where responsibilities included managing the swimming pool and leading the Pool Lifeguard team and swimming instructors. Jason's experience also includes a temporary role as Acting Operations Officer at Warrington Borough Council, where project oversight involved the introduction of a new swim programme. Previous positions in swimming development were held at Aura Leisure & Libraries and Flintshire County Council. Jason is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management at Wrexham University, with prior education including a National Diploma in Sport from Coleg Cambria and GCSEs from Castell Alun High School.
