Sophie Lawler

Sophie Lawler is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the fitness and leisure sectors, currently serving as CEO of Total Fitness since June 2018, where record EBITDA growth was achieved and significant post-pandemic recovery was managed. Prior to Total Fitness, Lawler held the role of Director at Ravenna Commercial, focusing on transformational assignments within private equity environments. Previous positions include Group Director of Strategy & Programming at Fitness First Group, where strategic transformations spanned multiple international markets, and Central Operations & Strategy Director at Fitness First in the UK. Early career contributions as a Marketing Manager and Cluster/General Manager at Fitness First UK laid the groundwork for a successful trajectory in operational excellence and strategic growth. Lawler holds an MA in Political Economics from the University of Manchester and a BA (Hons) in Sociology and Politics from Keele University.
