Huruda De Castro Malungane has had a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Huruda is currently working as the Head of Finance at Liberty Health since May 2021. Huruda has also worked as the Senior Assistant Financial Controller at Southern Sun Hotels from February 2015 to December 2018. Additionally, they have held positions such as Facilities Coordinator at MMO, Mozambique Managed Offices Lda in 2014, Finance & Resources Officer at British Council in 2013, and Sales Officer at REC Real Estate Consultancy from 2011 to 2013. Throughout their career, Huruda De Castro Malungane has gained expertise in financial control, financial analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, risk assessments, and business strategy reviews.

Huruda De Castro Malungane completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from I.S.C.T.E.M from 2013 to 2016. In 2010 and 2011, Huruda studied Marketing & Public Relations at the Instituto de Educação em Gestão. Huruda is currently pursuing studies in Accounting and Finance at ACCA. In addition to their academic qualifications, Huruda obtained certifications in "7 Habits for Managers" from FRANKLIN COVEY CO in 2016 and in "Health and Safety" from the British Council in 2013.
