Ivan Parra

Ivan Parra has over 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering. Ivan began their career in 2013 as a QA Support Engineer at Wincor Nixdorf, where they conducted user acceptance testing for software products from third party vendors and provided 1st and 2nd line support. In 2015, Ivan moved to QMBIT Group, where they served as a QA Tester and Scrum Master, leading a small team of 3 programmers. From 2016 to 2018, Ivan worked for Banco Popular de Puerto Rico as a QA Tester and SAP Consultant, where they identified defects and bugs and supported the SAP HCM PA/PY/PT and SuccessFactors suite in Onboarding, Recruiting, and Learning. Ivan also worked for Oracle from 2017 to 2018 as an ERP Consultant. From 2018 to 2019, Ivan worked for Accenture as an Applications Development Analyst, and from 2019 to 2020, they worked for Naranja X as a QA Automation Engineer. Currently, Ivan works for Total Performance Consulting as a QA Engineer, where they design and executes test strategies for insurance systems for a top tier bank in Canada and performs end to end UI Automation with Cypress.

Ivan Parra has an education history that includes attending UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, as well as completing a course in Automatización de Pruebas Funcionales con Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT) in 2018. In addition, Ivan Parra holds a Scrum Master Accredited Certification from the International Scrum Institute, obtained in March of 2019.
