James Davenport

James Davenport's work experience includes positions at various organizations. James started in 1996 as a Sr. Manager of Applications/Web Development at AvalonBay Communities, Inc., where they directed key IT functions for a Fortune 500 company. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Sr. Systems Administrator at The Washington Post, responsible for converting legacy infrastructure to Office 365. From 2013 to 2018, they served as an IT Director at MyEyeDr., leading the strategic development and implementation of IT aspects for a high-growth optical company. In 2018, they joined MorganFranklin Consulting as a CIO Advisory, providing expertise and evaluations of technologies for organizations. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Technology Professional at Vijilant, leading organizations through information security planning and implementation. Since 2020, they have been the Director of IT at Total Vision. James also worked at The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine from 2020 to 2022 as a Sr. Project Manager.

James Davenport obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems from Brigham Young University in 1992. Additionally, they received certifications such as Certified Chief Information Security Officer from EC-Council in March 2018, and IBM Certified Advanced Application Developer, Lotus Notes and Domino 7 in February 2008.
