Antonio Tomas

Antonio TOMAS has extensive experience in reservoir engineering, having worked at TotalEnergies since January 2010, with notable roles including Lead Reservoir Engineer for Southern Fields TotalEnergies Denmark and FPSO Girassol, as well as Principal Reservoir Engineer for the Girassol/Jasmim/Rosa Fields in deep offshore Angola. Key responsibilities include reserves forecasting, production optimization studies, and coaching junior engineers, utilizing software such as Replix and Petrel RE. Prior to this, Antonio held various positions focusing on reservoir management and monitoring, and began a career as a Well-site Geologist at Total, supervising drilling activities. Antonio holds an MSc in Reservoir Geoscience and Engineering from IFP and a BSc in Geology from the University of Aberdeen.
