Juan Cantillo

Juan Cantillo currently serves as a Senior LNG Account Manager at TotalEnergies Gas & Power Limited since June 2021 and has been with TotalEnergies as a Senior Geoscientist and Exploration Advisor since June 2008, where contributions include providing insights on exploration proposals and publishing four international patents related to advanced seismic techniques. Prior to this, Juan was a PhD Researcher at Thales Alenia Space from September 2004 to April 2008, recognized with the Thales 2009 Best PhD Prize and co-authoring the DVB-S2 standard, as well as publishing patents on satellite communications. Early career experience includes working as an Associated Researcher at JAXA, focusing on space propulsion and computational fluid dynamics from April 2002 to September 2003. Juan holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Space Engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO and a PhD in Satellite Communications from Institut Polytechnique de Paris.
