Nicolas Passade-Boupat

Nicolas Passade-Boupat has extensive experience in the field of physical chemistry and engineering, currently serving as the "Flow Assurance" R&D Theme Manager at TotalEnergies since July 2007, focusing on reducing design margins and optimizing chemical treatments. Additionally, Nicolas holds the position of Co-Director of the TOTAL/CNRS/ESPCI Physicalchemistry of Complex Interfaces (PIC) Laboratory, established in 2015 to advance the understanding of complex interfaces. Nicolas has previously managed the "Physical Chemistry & Analysis" Department, contributing to various R&D programs in Chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery and flow assurance phenomena. Early career experience includes roles at Arkema and Atofina as a Research Scientist, leading rheology labs and developing nanotechnologies and additive systems. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Physical-Chemistry of Polymers from ESPCI and Paris VI, along with multiple degrees in Physics and Chemistry.
