Phil Mason

Phil Mason has extensive experience in information and data management within the energy sector, currently serving as Manager - Information & Data and Technical Data Management Leader at TotalEnergies since July 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing the technical data management team and data governance. Prior to this, Phil held various positions at Maersk Oil from February 2008 to July 2018, including Interim IS Lead, UK IT Applications Manager, Technical Applications Team Lead, and Geotechnical Applications Analyst, focusing on application support and enhancement across the business. Earlier experience includes work as a Senior Systems Engineer at SAIC and a Geoscience Consultant at Venture Information Management. Phil holds an MSc in Computing in Earth Science from Keele University and a BSc in Exploration Geology from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
