Philip Wodka

Principal Well Integrity Engineer; Wells Risk Management at TotalEnergies

Philip Wodka has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Philip currently holds the position of Principal Well Integrity Engineer and Wells Risk Management at TotalEnergies. Prior to this role, they were the Principal Well Integrity Specialist in Operations from 2018 to 2023.

Before joining TotalEnergies, Philip held various leadership positions at Maersk Oil. Philip served as the Corporate Chief Well Completions & Integrity and Corporate Chief Well Integrity/Principal Production Technologist, where they had global technical authority for well integrity and was responsible for establishing and coordinating well integrity teams. Philip also served as the Director of New Technology and Special Projects, Subsurface Asset Manager, Well Operations Director, and Head of Well Technology at Maersk Oil.

Philip's career started at Schlumberger Overseas S.A in Angola, where they worked as a Wireline Logging Engineer. Philip then joined Maersk Oil as a Well Site Engineer, Reservoir Engineer, and later became a Production Technologist.

Philip Wodka also has previous experience at Al Furat Petroleum Company as a Production Technologist.

Throughout their career, Philip Wodka has demonstrated expertise in well integrity, technology implementation, project management, and cross-disciplinary coordination.

Philip Wodka's education history includes completing a General Management Programme at Cranfield School of Management in 2003. Philip earned a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School between 1984 and 1987. Prior to that, they obtained an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 1977 to 1983.
