Vadim Ionescu

Vadim Ionescu has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Vadim started their career at OMV as an Accounting Staff in 2001 and then moved to Moeller Electric in the same role. In 2005, they joined KPMG Romania as an Audit Senior, where they led audit teams and performed complex audit tasks for clients across different industries.

In 2007, Vadim joined GENPACT, where they held multiple roles, including Transition Manager, Operations Lead, and Project Lead Re-engineering. Vadim managed Business Process Outsourcing projects, oversaw large-scale transitions, and improved operational efficiency for global companies in sectors such as telecommunications, automotive, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals.

In 2016, Vadim joined Proservartner as a Management Consultant, specializing in Finance Transformation. Vadim provided advisory services, implementation support, and strategic advice to organizations seeking shared services and outsourcing solutions.

Currently, Vadim is working at TotalEnergies as Vice President of the Business Excellence Division. Vadim also served as the Business Excellence Lead and a Member of the Management Board at Total Global Services Bucharest. In these roles, Vadim contributed to the improvement and optimization of financial services within the organization.

Vadim Ionescu completed their high school education at Liceul Jean Monnet from 1989 to 2001. Vadim then pursued a Master's degree in Finance, Insurance, Banks and Stockmarkets from Academia de Studii Economice din București, which they obtained from 2001 to 2005. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as the Advanced Diploma in GBS from The Hackett Group Inc. Vadim Ionescu also holds the title of Chartered Fiscal Consultant from Confédération Fiscale Européenne / Chamber of Tax Consultants Romania and Expert Fiscal Judiciar from Camera Consultantilor Fiscali.
