Bryn Whyman

Bryn Whyman has extensive work experience in product management and leadership roles. Currently, Bryn serves as the Principal Product Manager at Totara Learning, where they lead a team of product managers in delivering high-value experiences across the talent development platform. They also collaborate with the platform development group to enhance the platform's scalability and enable innovative solutions.

Prior to joining Totara Learning, Bryn worked at Silverstripe as a Product Manager, focusing on aligning product strategy to bring value to clients and the developer community. Additionally, they served as a Product Owner, leading a product development team and owning roadmap planning for the Common Web Platform.

Before Silverstripe, Bryn held a role as a Senior System Specialist at the New Zealand Electoral Commission, managing product solutions and leading programme delivery for democracy and electoral systems. They prioritized security and reliability and developed innovative solutions for voter enrolment.

Earlier in their career, Bryn worked at New Zealand Post as a Business Analyst, leading projects related to the Flag Referendum. They acted as a bridge between the business and development teams and focused on effective communication and roadmap planning.

Throughout their career, Bryn has consistently demonstrated a commitment to delivering valuable and innovative solutions while prioritizing collaboration and strategic alignment.

Bryn Whyman received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on information systems and e-commerce from Victoria University of Wellington between 2011 and 2013.
