Matt Linaker

Matt Linaker has a diverse work experience starting from 2007. Matt began their career as an English Teacher at Terige High school in Kenya, where they taught English and English Literature for four months. Matt then worked at LANG as an English Teacher in Poland, teaching a range of students from young learners to adults. At Nana Kafetzopoulou Language Academy, Matt taught students preparing for Cambridge First Certificate, Michigan proficiency, and IELTS exams.

In 2011, Matt joined YES'N'YOU as an English Teacher and later became the Head Instructional Designer/English Teacher. Matt created courses for teachers and learners across France and developed e-learning for corporate clients.

In 2017, Matt started working at Totara Learning as a Senior Instructional Designer, leading a team in developing feature-focused courses. Matt later became the Customer Success Manager, defining the customer success strategy and implementing an NPS survey program. Currently, they are the Partner Onboarding and Enablement Lead, responsible for the customer success team, global partner education initiatives, and fostering the growth of Totara's community.

Matt Linaker earned a Master's Degree in MSc Technology Enhanced Learning from The University of Huddersfield from 2013 to 2016. Matt also completed a BA Hons in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Stirling between 2005 and 2009. In 2009, they underwent language training development at Oxford and obtained a TRINITY TESOL certification. In 2015, they completed an Advanced Teacher Training Course at YES 'N' YOU institution.
