David Gackenbach

David Gackenbach is a versatile professional with extensive experience in project management and metal design. Currently serving as a Project Manager and Project Engineer at Toth Construction, Inc. since February 2017, David previously held the position of Production Manager & Designer at Metal Solutions LLC, where responsibilities included managing production schedules and individual projects. David's background includes teaching Beginning Robotics at Powerful Schools and serving as a Silversmith in an independent studio, designing and fabricating functional and sculptural objects. David has also worked as an Installation Artist with Chihuly, Inc., where contributions included building and installing glass sculptures, and as a Fabricator at US Starcraft Corp., focusing on custom furniture and architectural metalwork. In education, David holds an MFA in Metal Design from the University of Washington and a BA in Integrative Arts from Penn State University.
