Ted Myers

CEO at Totum

Ted Myers has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Ted started their career as a Co-Founder at CommASIC in 2001, where they developed the concept and Intellectual Property for the Wireless Broadband Signal Processor (WBSP) and supervised the development of the W-LAN Physical Layer. Ted then worked at Freescale Semiconductor as a Systems Engineering Manager from 2005 to 2007. In 2008, Ted founded On-Ramp Wireless/Ingenu and served as the Founder and CTO. Ted was the inventor of Random Phase Multiple Access (RPMA), a cutting edge, high-capacity Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) system. Under Ted's leadership, the company connected 200k devices and had several million endpoints in the pipeline through partnerships. In 2018, they became the CEO of Totum Labs.

Ted Myers attended Virginia Tech from 1987 to 1991, but it is not specified whether they obtained a degree or field of study during that time. Ted then pursued a Master's of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Maryland from 1991 to 1992. Ted later completed their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Tech, which they achieved from 1994 to 1997.
