Job description
TouchBistro is seeking a Product Owner to join our Product team! As a Product Owner, you will play a central role in helping shape the experiences of our restaurant management platform, including Point-of-Sale (POS) products and core functionality (i.e. menu, staff, and others). We are looking for an adept, collaborative, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic candidate with a passion for problem-solving. This individual will help execute the development of our platform for all of TouchBistro’s customers.
Your Day-to-Day
- Contribute to translating customer needs and market requirements into concise user stories and acceptance criteria
- In-line with the product roadmap, create and maintain a detailed backlog, sprint plan (in coordination with engineering leads), and release plan (in coordination with go-to-market stakeholders) for launching product updates
- Work closely with Product engineering and design teams on a day-to-day basis; participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming and sprint retrospective meetings
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, marketing, sales, and support to take product features from ideation to release and on-going operation (go-to-market and organizational readiness)
- Possess a high level of understanding the needs of restaurants, their staff and guests to and deliver a best in class experience via the TouchBistro platform
All About You
Must Haves:
- You have 1-3 years of experience as a Product Owner or working with product development and engineering teams
- You have experience in the Software industry
- You hold a Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, technology or related field(s)
- You exhibit strong communication skills (both written & verbal)
- You are highly organized & able to manage your time effectively and efficiently
Nice to Haves:
- You have experience in SQL
- Scrum Product Owner designation / certification is a bonus!
